The text formats itself to your screen, if you search for something, the layout of the text changes for that item to be the first thing on your screen. If your professor assigns readings by page number, then the Kindle version will be especially exasperating as it is not laid out by pages. Material of the text is very well-written and informative however, the Kindle version is incredibly difficult to navigate.
#GOROLL PRIMARY CARE MEDICINE CODE#
They informed me that they do not own the electronic content and that I would have to EMAIL INKLING customer service because Inkling does NOT have a phone number! They suggested that I state in my email that Wolters Kluwer has assigned a new code and all they need to do is OPEN UP ACCESS for the ENTIRE book to me. When attempting to open any other chapter, a message was displayed stating that I did NOT own the chapter and would I like to buy it…I own the whole book! Unable to find a phone number for INKLING Customer Service, I called Wolters Kluwer back. However, when I attempted to open the electronic text, I only had online access to Chapter 1. After several calls to Wolters Kluwer customer service and the reassignment of a new redemption code, I was finally able to see the textbook in My Library. However, I have been unable to access the electronic content since I purchased the text. I bought the 7th edition not only for the updated material but also for the enhanced electronic content. I already owned the 6th edition of this book which was accessible online through Point. However, my largest complaint with this text is that INKLING, the entity responsible for managing the e-content of this book is useless. My only complaint with the text itself is that the editors have chosen to separate screening and management for the same medical condition into different chapters which is a somewhat disjointed way to present a topic. Primary Care Medicine Seventh Edition by Goroll and Mulley is a reasonably comprehensive and clear reference source for adult primary care providers. Textbook is a fine primary care reference but don’t count on INKLING to provide seamless interactive / electronic content… Series: Primary Care Medicine ( Goroll )Hardcover: 1648 pagesPublisher: LWW Seventh edition (June 14, 2014)Language: EnglishISBN-10: 1451151497ISBN-13: 978-1451151497 Product Dimensions: 11.2 x 8.7 x 2.3 inches Shipping Weight: 7.7 pounds (View shipping rates and policies) Best Sellers Rank: #38,446 in Books (See Top 100 in Books) #22 in Books > Textbooks > Medicine & Health Sciences > Medicine > Clinical > Diseases #29 in Books > Textbooks > Medicine & Health Sciences > Medicine > Clinical > Family & General Practice #33 in Books > Textbooks > Medicine & Health Sciences > Medicine > Clinical > Internal Medicine It is very useful for practicing clinicians, focusing on pertinent facts yet making the references easy to find." - Vincent F Carr, DO, MSA, FACC, FACP, Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences, on behalf of Doody's Review Service It is well organized and comprehensive without being overly detailed. This is a valuable book that is equally easy to use in different formats - print, IOS and Android. The electronic version has a number of very nice features, such as accessing the references by tapping on the citation number, and has content not included in the print version. The figures also translate extremely well in all the formats. The different formats all are easy to read and allow changes in font size. The Inkling version works equally well on a laptop, IPad. A full-text online version available through Inkling is very easy to access and navigate. There are numerous references for further reading. The tables are highly intuitive and well presented. "This comprehensive reference covers the vast expanse of outpatient primary care. The editors have chosen their contributors well to pare down the information to the essentials. 5 STAR REVIEW from Doody's Review Service!
